Five self-contained apartments across three floors on a quiet South Shore street, available individually or as a whole building, with free parking on site.

The apartments. Each apartment is a complete, private unit: its own entrance door, its own kitchen, its own bathroom and a separate lounge. Two of the apartments take up to five adults each, a third takes five with a private bathroom on the ground floor, and two smaller apartments suit one or two people. Taken together the building sleeps up to nineteen adults, which makes it a practical fit for a full crew that needs its own front doors rather than shared rooms — or for a single engineer on a long placement.

The rest of it. Every kitchen is properly equipped — oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and a full set of utensils, so self-catering means cooking rather than reheating. Freeview TV, free Wi-Fi, constant hot water, hairdryer and iron in each apartment. All bed linen and towels are included in the rate and professionally laundered, and cleanliness is the thing we are genuinely strict about. Free parking on site. Pets are welcome.

Location. Five minutes off the M55, so sites across the Fylde coast, Preston and the wider North West are an easy run. Blackpool town centre is five minutes one way and St Annes-on-Sea five minutes the other. The Promenade, South Pier and the tram are a short walk, and there is a large Wetherspoons on the doorstep for anyone who cannot face cooking after a long shift.

How it is run. A house manager lives in the building and deals with guests day to day, which is what makes a long stay here work — problems get sorted the same day rather than by email. Communal entrances and stairways are kept clean and clear, apartments are cleaned and linen-changed between stays, and the building is strictly non-smoking with a designated area on the front terrace. We do not take stag or hen groups, which is exactly why working guests keep coming back. Rates for longer bookings and whole-building takes on request.
